This month our theme is Inspired By Nature. Thank you for visiting my blog today.
For this months theme being inspired by nature I have been inspired on my daily school run with my two boys and how much fun they have kicking up the fallen leaves. So I decided to use a leaf that we collected to stamp with and here is my card.
To stamp with the leaf firstly I made sure it was clean and dry, Then to ink the leaf I laid it over my open ink pad and used a sponge brayer to gently roll over the leaf and ink it up. When I put the leaf onto my cardstock I used a piece of scrap paper on top so I could use the roller to pres it down. I chose to use Daffodil delight and Tangerine Tango for my leaves then added a strip of DSP from the Painted Autumn stack and punched out some labels with the Pretty Label punch in Early Espreso to match my card base and whisper white. On the whisper white label I stamped a sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set again in Early Espresso ink.
I just love the pattern from the stamped leaves with the veins, they are truly unique and nature at it most beautiful
