Stampin'Up! Card in a Box with a twist

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I have got a fun birthday card tutorial for you. Last year when I was at onstage with my fellow crafty cupcakes one of the team made a card for our upline and I thought it was amazing so decided to make a similar one for our Mums on Mothers Day.

For my tutorial today I have decided to make it for a birthday.

This is not a very easy card to photograph so I have made a collage of the pictures to make it easier to see.

For this card you will need

A sheet of 12" x 12" DSP

You will need to cut this down into 3 strips measuring 4" x 12" and then cut one strip to 5"

These then need to be scored at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10" , with the shorter 5" piece being scored at 2 1/2" on the long side.

For the boxes/trays

A piece of card measuring 5 3/4" x 7 1/4"
A piece of card measuring 5 7/8" x 7 3/8"

Both pieces of card need to be scored on all four sides at 3/4" and 1 1/2" to make the top and bottom boxes

To decorate the inside you will need

8 pieces of DSP 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
2 pieces of coloured card 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
2 pieces of white card 3 1/2" x 2"

Here is a list of what I used today

Thank you for taking a look today, Until next time,

 Happy crafting!
