Stampin'Up! Oh So Ombre Treat Bags

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I am sharing my cute treat bags with you. These have been made with one sheet of 6" x 6" DSP, I have used the Oh So Ombre paper from the SaleABration catalogue. This is an add on catalogue to go with the new Jan-July Mini Catalogue and to qualify for the products in there you need to spend £45 or more. The more you order the more freebies you can earn! To take a look at the new catalogue and SaleABration click the pictures to the right.

The inspiration for the treat bag came from Pinterest, specifically Crafty Caroline.

They are super simple and have no cutting so just score and fold and you are done! The Ombre papers have  a patterned side and a plain side but I really love the dots so went with that side for my treat bags. Inside the bag are 2 mini Kinder bars which fit perfectly, But you could use any mini size treat of your choice.

The stamps and punches I have used to decorate my bags are in the Annual Catalogue and can be purchased as a bundle. The Heartfelt stamps and Heart Punch Pack are great for Valentines cards and gifts, and the sentiment I chose to put on my treat bags is perfect for sharing with friends. The ribbon I used is from the Flowers for every Season Combo pack and I tied it in a simple knot.

I used coordinating card and ink to stamp and punch with in the 4 colours in the DSP stack, I think my favourite in this stack is the Rococo Rose.

For the treat bag you will need a piece of 6" x 6" DSP

This the needs to be scored at

One one side, 1 1/2" and 4 1/2"

Rotate 90 degrees and the score at

2 1\2" and 3 1\2"

About 8" of ribbon.

Here is the video tutorial for how to assemble your treat bag.

Here are the supplies that I used today, remember you can click on the items individually or the add all to cart to make it super simple to get your supplies to make this project.

By adding the Heart Felt bundle and the Ribbon combo pack to your basket you will qualify for the Oh So Ombre papers for FREE!

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and until next time,

 Happy crafting!
