Stampin'Up! Butterfly Bouquet Cards

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I am sharing some cards made with the new Butterfly Bouquet stamps, dies and papers. I have also added some of the Gilded Leaf embellishment to the cards using a fun technique.

The Butterfly Bouquet is available to purchase from the 2nd March and is an early release from the 2021/22 Annual Catalogue. The suite is a stamp set, dies and DSP and also includes for a limited time the Natural Touch Speciality Paper, which is a beautiful wood effect paper. The speciality paper will only be available during the special promotion between 2nd March and 3rd May 2021. During this time you will be able to purchase the whole collection as a bundle with a 10% saving too.

Back to my cards for today and as I said I have used the gilded leaf to add a bit of bling and texture to the background of my card. I used the basic patterned decorative masks with Heat and Stick powder to add the gilding to the DSP. As you will see it isn't exactly perfect but I think this just adds to the effect.

There are some beautiful colours used the the Butterfly Bijou DSP stack and I love the watercolour effect in the pinks and Aqua's. One of the collections features is that you can die cut the butterflies from a sheet of DSP in the stack using the large butterfly die all together giving you 6 butterflies. Included in the set of dies are the detailed butterflies too and are great for layering. The sentiment for the cards is from Always In My Heart stamp set, which I heat embossed in white. For the label behind the butterfly I used the Tasteful Labels dies and then one of the small detail dies from the Brilliant Wings dies.
