Stampin'Up! shaker card

Here is the card that I have made to celebrate World Card Making day. I have wanted to make a shaker style card for some time now and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity to make one. This style of card is made even easier using the Foam adhesive strips. For this card I used Smokey Slate as my card base which is a 5.5" square and then paired it with Blushing Bride. The DSP is from the A Little Foxy product suite and the stamped and punched flowers are from the Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamps and co-ordinating punches. The sentiment is from Suite Sentiments set.

I used heart die to cut the shape on the Designer Series Paper (our lovely patterned paper) and the used some window sheet and the foam strips to make the shaker part. The heart shapes inside are cut from the Cookie Cutter punch from the holiday catalogue but you could use sequins or any other tiny shapes you have, i just happened to have the cookie cutter punch to hand when I was making my card. Also for good measure there is a little silver glitter inside too!
