Stampin'Up! Christmas Cracker Surprise!

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

Today I have got a cracker of a project for you! I got my inspiration for this from my eldest son who had his first Beaver Scout sleepover this past weekend. He got to spend a couple of days having lots of fun and also they all made some Christmas goodies to bring home. One of these was a Christmas cracker and I thought it was great and had to have a go at making one.

At first glance they look like normal crackers, but they have a hidden 'door' on the back so you can put your treats in and out without having to pull your cracker!

Here is the video tutorial

For the cracker base you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 11" x  8 1/4"

You will need to score on the 11" side at
1/2"
2 1/2"
4 1/2"
6 1/2"
8 1/2"
10 1/2"

On the 8 1/4" side score at
1 1/2"
2 1/8"
2 3/4"
5 1/2"
6 1/8"
6 3/4"

For decorating my crackers I cut 8 pieces of dsp to 1 7/8" by  1 3/8" and 4 pieces of dsp to 1 7/8" by 2 5/8"

For my crackers I used a combination of Mint Macaron with presents and pinecones Designer Series Paper and the one with the reindeer on I used Crumb Cake and the candy cane lane Designer Series Paper.
