This month the theme is 'Our Annual Catalogue favourite's' We have all had to chose our favourite new things from the catalogue and I have chosen the Marbled Background stamp and the Happy Birthday Thinlit dies along with two of the new InColours.
The Marbled stamp is the first large stamp that I have bought from SU and I have been really impressed with it, it stamps perfectly even though it is a large stamp. The die is also great as you can make some fast yet really effective cards with it so it's perfect for last minute cards.
I have made my card base with Berry Burst card and then used Whisper white and Powder Pink ink to stamp the background. I cut the Happy Birthday twice once in white and again in Berry Burst, then adhered them together with a drop shadow effect to give dimension. I then finished with a few glitter enamel dots. For the inside of my card I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set to add a sentiment and little flower
Thank you once again for visiting my blog and taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss so make sure you carry on hopping through the list.
