StampinUp! Happy Birthday To You Sale-A-Bration cards

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I am sharing 2 cards that I have made using the free Sale-A-Bration stampset Happy Birthday To You. These are the cards we made at my recent coffee and cards session. I try to make 2 cards for these sessions and have one focused towards men/boys as these seem to be the most challenging for us crafters!

I have only used the one stamp set for my cards and two ink colours so they also fall into the #simplestamping category, which is a fabulous concept to keep it simple and for everyone of all abilities.

For the Petal Pink card I stamped the cake twice and coloured and fussy cut the flowers then added them to the main card front with some dimensionals. I used the watercolour pencils with the blender pen to colour my cake and flowers. I also did the stamping in Grey Granite which I think looks lovely and less harsh than stamping in black ink and gives a softer finish.

For the other card I used the Happy Birthday sentiment and the little dotty stamp in the set to add some colour and interest. Its also a great card for using up scraps of DSP, the one I used was the Blueberry Bushel in the DSP  incolor stack.

This is what I used to make my cards,

Blender Pens

Sale-A-Bration is such a great time of year where you earn free product, So if you purchased the basic materials above you can earn the Happy Birthday To You stamp set absolutely free!
