Stampin'Up! Fancy Fold Poppy Card

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

I hope you are all safe and well at home and having lots of time to craft.

Today I should have had a card class at The Craft Shed in Basildon but due to the current situation we are unable to so I have done the next best thing and made a tutorial for the card we would have been making.

I have enjoyed having the time to spend in my craft room and have been busy making.

Here is the card for today, I'm not sure what to call it but I'm going with fancy fold!

This is a super simple card with very little scoring!

To make this card you will need

Cardstock, I have used Thick Whisper White,

8 1\4" x 4" for the main base

1 3\4" x 4 1\2" for the piece across the front.

Designer Series Paper, I have used Peaceful Moments DSP,

3 7\8" x 5 5\8"

3 7\8" x 2 3\8"

1 5\8" x 3 7\8"

For the poppy flower and leaves I have used the following colours

Poppy Parade
Real Red
Basic Black
Old Olive
Granny Apple Green

For the centre of my poppy I have coloured one of the clear faceted gems with a black pro marker, any alcohol marker will do!, I just love the finish it gives to the flower.

For the card base you will need to score along the long side at

2 1\2"

On the strip of card you need to score again on the longer side at 1\2"

For the sentiment I have used the Label Me Bold stamp set which is in the mini catalogue.

Here is the tutorial

Here is a list of the main products I have used today

Thank you for stopping by today, remember stay home, stay safe, and craft on!

Until next time,

 Happy crafting!
