Crafty's Angels Team Challenge

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today on my blog I have a card that I have made for Crafty's Angels Team Challenge. This month Linda (Parker) who is our team leader and upline sent us a kit with some crafty bits and bobs in to make a card with. We were all sent the same dsp collection and a note card and were asked to make a card to see how many different projects we could make. It was up to us what stamp set(s) we used to make our card.

For mine I used my new favourite set in the Holiday Catalogue Peaceful Noel. Its a beautiful photopolymer stamp set with some great 2 step stamps.

My card is a Whisper White note card with a layer of Merry Merlot card with some of the Joyous Noel Speciality DSP on top. I used a smaller piece of Whisper White card to stamp some of the images from the stamp set using Tranquil Tide, Merry Merlot and Sahara Sand ink. For the sentiment I masked the stamp to firstly stamp 'May your Christmas be' Then again to add in the 'Bright' as I didn't want to use the whole sentiment stamp. Finally I added some Merry Merlot and Copper ribbon underneath and 2 rhinestones to complete the front of my card.

Me being me I decided to add some extra interest for the inside of my card and made a pop out element!

This is a really simple pop out using just one strip of card folded and glued inside the card, the squares have been mounted on Merry Merlot card and then the NOEL is stamped with the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set which is in the annual catalogue. The little corner details are in the Peaceful Noel stamp set.

I will be sharing this within a video tutorial this week so please stay tuned for that!
