Stampin'Up! Desk Tidy

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone,

My project today is a desk tidy. I love making my own storage and pretty things for my craft room and decided to make something for all my bits and bobs on my desk that I use all the time.

Here is my tidy,

As you will see in the picture I used some DSP for this one and in the tutorial I use cardstock. I would recommend using a thicker dsp like the All My Love dsp as it is stronger than the regular DSP.

For the one I show you I have used one of the retiring InColours Berry Burst. I will be sad to see this particular set of colours go as I really love them. However the new 2019\2021 InColours are really pretty and I will be sharing them with you very soon.

This is an easy item to make once you have all your pieces of card cut it will come together fairly quickly.

For the desk tidy you will need

6 pieces of card measuring the following

2" x 8"
2.5"x 8"
3" x 8"
3.5"x 8"
4" x 8"
4.5" x 8"

The scoring for these pieces is all the same

On the 8" side you need to score at 2.5", 5" and 7.5"

On the shorter side 1\2" on either end

A piece of card 6" x 6" for the base

If you have chosen to make yours from cardstock to decorate you will need some dsp of your choice to coordinate.

The measurements are as follows,

3\4"
1 1\4"
1 3/4"
2 1\4"      all by 2 1\4"
2 3\4"
3 1\4"
2 1\8"

Here is the video tutorial showing how it all comes together

These are the items I used,

I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial and until next time,

 Happy crafting!
