Hello everyone
Today I am sharing with you the fabulous Joy To the World Paper pumpkin kit. Usually we don't have Paper Pumpkin boxes here as they are a monthly subscription in the US but This month Stampin'Up! have offered this one globally!
Everything you need to make 8 cards is included in the box the only thing you need to add is a clear block to mount the stamps on.
This kit certainly didn't disappoint and is great value for money too, the stamp set alone I would estimate to be worth around £15 so for £20 it's a steal!!
Here are the cards as they are intended to be made straight from the box following the instructions,
They are beautiful cards and quick and easy to make but I decided to change them up a little here by altering the orientation
Then it was time to really get into the box, or outside it! I took inspiration from an American demo called Rachel Tessman so a big Thank you to her for sharing her ideas on how to make the kit go further by cutting into parts of the kit including the envelopes which are printed on the inside and far too pretty to be thrown away once the cards have been received.
I have added a couple of sheets of Crumb Cake card to make the card bases from, Crumb Cake and Real Red inks and a couple of embellishments.
I also made this card below using the fake shaker style to take it up a level from the kit instructions. Inside the shaker part I have used some gold sequins and used my hole punch on some cherry cobbler card to get the little red dots. This is a great technique using some clear wrap packaging from some DSP which no doubt I will be sharing with you soon!
