Stampin'Up! Pretty Petal Hexagon Gift Box and Card

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone,

Today's project is a gift box and card. As you may know by now I love making boxes! So here is another hexagonal box with a twist on the lid.

For my box and card I have used the Part Animal DSP with Watermelon Wonder and Emerald Envy. The Party Animal DSP is now included in the Sale-A-Bration so to get some for free all you need to do is spend £45 or more, It couldn't be easier!

To make the box you will need,

Card measuring 3" by 9 1/2"
Card measuring 5 1/4" by 9 1/4"

To Make the lid of your box you will also need something round to trace your scoring tool around. I used one of the circle dies from the stitched framelits set and it measured roughly 2 1/2" in diameter. If you don't have that exact die one the same size will be fine.

Scoring for the lid is as follows, all in inches,

Along the 9 1/2" side score at
1.5
3
4.5
6
7.5
9

Along the 3" side score at
0.5
1.5

To find the middle of each of your sections mark with a pencil at the following measurements
.75
2.25
3.75
5.25
6.75
8.25

Here is the video for the box

For the card I have used the same dsp and cardstock colours and I have used the Big Birthday stamp set.

For the card you will need
A card base
A piece of card that measures 3 7/8" by 5 1/2"
A piece of dsp that measures 3 7/8" by 5 1/2"

whisper white card measuring 3 1/4" by 2 3/4"
another piece of dsp ( I used the other side to the birthday candles) that is 3 1/2" by 3"

Another piece of whisper white to stamp on.

Here is the tutorial for the card
